php error on install

  • On first navigating to install.php I get:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/more404/public_html/wordpressthemes/wp-admin/admin-functions.php on line 240

    Consulting the file in question I can not see any obvious error. Just wondered if this is a known fault. Maybe a server side guru could help please? Thanks.

    UPDATE: Error only occurs using the tar.gz download. The zip is fine.
