PHP Error During Downtime of de.sendinblue.com

    Hi there,

    when trying to login to WP, I just got on PHP Error: Curl error:

    Could not resolve host: in-automate.sendintaue.com n Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/pageeffe/pubhc_html/demo/wp-content/plugins/mailin/inc/sendintaue.php:45) in /home/pageeffe/public_hbnlidemo/wp-includes /pluggable.php on hoe 1281

    I just installed the sendinblue plugin yesterday for the first time on a stage. It was working fine during the day. So after receiving the error message I tried to go to https://de.sendinblue.com/ to figure out the reason for that error. But the site was down. I verified this with “https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/”

    Now the site is back online, and the Plugin is working.

    My Question is: In case your server is down, for sure the API is not working, but the rest of the wordpress site using your plugin should work “normally”. Not sure if the downtime of your webseite and the PHP Error are connected, but it looks like. So do you have some sort of fallback function implemented? Something like “If not connection to *sendinblue.com possible, deactivate plugin”. So WP is working even if the API isn’t?

    You are right, we should handle such cases.

    Unfortunately it’s not possible at the moment, but we will do our best to fix it in upcoming versions.
