    Hi

I’m getting this PHP error on the Cookie Description page in the Wizard. I noticed it after I deleted a Cookie that I added myself.

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/22/d875236560/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Intolerate/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr/cookie/class-cookie-admin.php on line 1277

The only other thing that seems to have changed on the page is that the Sync button is greyed out and showing the following notification:

“Synchronization disabled: This happens when all cookies have synchronized to cookiedatabase.org in the last week.”

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Alex

Actually I just installed a backup of my site and reinstalled the Complianz plugin and set it up again. This time I didn’t delete any cookies and I still saw this error. I have also noticed that the cookie presences switches on the cookie policy page disappeared after I received this PHP error. Any ideas what is causing this?

Can you try to run a new cookie scan? Let me know if that helps.

The next release will contain an additional check to catch such errors. If a new cookie scan doesn’t help, you can try the latest github version:
    https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-gdpr/

    Which already includes this fix.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. No a rescan didn’t help. Did you mean to clear all cookies first or just run a scan? Thanks, Alex

    Hi @sdesign-1,

Rogier was indeed referring to simply running a scan. Could you try if the Github branch (= next update) fixes the issue on your end?

Just let me know if you have any updates.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi

The Github branch doesn’t work for me. The cookie sync seems to be running permanently so I see no cookies in the list, even though there is a yellow warning box telling me that sync is disabled.

“Synchronization disabled: This happens when all cookies have synchronized to cookiedatabase.org in the last week.”

    Any ideas?

Can you try to clear all cookies on the cookie scan page, then run a new scan, then sync again?

Hi, I did try doing that already but it didn’t help

    Thanks

    Hi

With the Github version I cleared cookies, but it will still not sync. It just gets stuck on this page like in the screenshot.

I’m not sure what to do now. Neither version is working for me. Any ideas?

    Thanks, Alex

    Hi @sdesign-1,

I expect this (sync list empty) to be related to the Sync being disabled because of the weekly limit.

I’ll leave the topic as unresolved for now, so you can just let us know in 2/3 days whether the PHP error re-appears when you re-sync the list.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
