    Hi,

My team and I really love the slider ability within this plugin, but when activating the latest version, we are thrown the following error:

“Notice: Undefined index: spacerat in /www/wp-content/plugins/ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor/ooohboi-steroids.php on line 235 Notice: Undefined index: spacerat in /www/wp-content/plugins/ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor/ooohboi-steroids.php on line 235 Notice: Undefined index: imbox in /www/wp-content/plugins/ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor/ooohboi-steroids.php on line 236 Notice: Undefined index: imbox in /www/wp-content/plugins/ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor/ooohboi-steroids.php on line 236”

Our site is running PHP version 7.4 and is also using the latest version of WordPress. I’m not sure what the issue is here, I suspect it may be the plugin clashing with our current theme “Phlox Pro”, but I was wondering if you might be able to provide further insight into this bug. Happy to provide more info if needed!

    Thanks,

@downunderwolf, is there a way you can create a new site from your WPMU dashboard, activate “Steroids for Elementor” and then…
…select Settings > Steroids for Elementor,
turn OFF the last 4 extensions,
    Save Changes.

By the way, your screenshot indicates that the plugin is not up to date!!! You’re missing 2 new extensions and a few core changes, maybe that’s why you can’t get everything back to normal.
Please update the plugin to 1.5.5

    Cheers!

    @ooohboi,

I know @downunderwolf is having other issues at the moment on this forum, but I was wondering if you have looked into a more permanent solution to my original issues aside from simply turning off the new tools found within your plugin?

Again, really appreciate your communication and ability to find a quick fix initially, but I am hoping you can find a permanent fix to the original error – providing users a more stable and reliable build. Please let me know if there is any further information that you might need that would make debugging easier for you!

    Thanks,

    Ooohi Boi

I haven’t been able to update, hence why the current version showing is so far behind.

Can I find the prevision update vesions on Github? I need to find the point where the upgrades started to go wrong.

As previously mentioned I have your plugin working on a lot of other sites.

@jasugree, I didn’t suggest to turn off any of the extensions permanently, please read my post once again.

@downunderwolf, are you telling me that the problems you got don’t come from the latest release of the plugin – which is 1.5.5, but rather from some older version? And that the update notices don’t reach your WordPress dashboard?
No Github or whatsoever, my plugin resides in the WordPress plugins repository and every update is supposed to be reflected in each and every WordPress install all around the globe.
I don’t know what’s wrong with your own WP install (obviously there IS something), you might rather want to talk to your hoster.

    Hi Oooh Boi

I think I have found a resolution to my issue.

I migrated a copy of the troublesome website to a newly created subdomian. I then deactivated all plugins and deleted the steroids for elementor plugin.

I then reactivated Elementor and Elementor Pro and got the website to function (as best as possible) I then reinstalled Steroids for Elementor. I then went into the SFE setting and turned off all of the options. I could then access the website without the error message. I then turned the options on one at a time until I was satisfied that the website was functioning ok with no error messages or faults.

I then reactivated each of the pluins checking each time to see if there were error messages.

Thankfully it all seems to work ok now. I am going to test the clone site out today/tomorrow to make sure it works ok, then I will migrate a copy to the required URL.

Thanks for all your help with this. I am not sure why these erros were coming up as none of the other sites I use your plugin on were affected.

Keep up the good work, your plugin is unique and adds so much value.

@downunderwo, thanks for the feedback! If no errors popped up upon SFE activation then I’m sure there won’t be any in the future.
    Cheers!
