Hi, I think this is a duplicate of an issue you resolved a few posts down. I added the details there but I’ve started a new thread here in case you aren’t notified of new posts in resolved threads.

    **********************

I have just installed the plugin and receive the same error message:

Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /***/***/public_html/***/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-discounts-plus/index.php on line 2086

The problem that I have is that there is nowhere to actually create the discount, I just have general settings.

    Help greatly appreciated ??

Thank you, again. The error message is now gone. I still can’t find where to create a discount – I haven’t looked at these pages in detail so I may have missed something.

Thank you for your speedy service :0

I see where the problem is. The screenshots show that there should be a panel created in the Add a New Product page.

Presumably the plugin has a line of code that looks for ‘New product’. I have used a translation plugin to re-name the word ‘product’ as ‘artwork’ – I don’t sell ‘products’ ??

I’ll have a think about how to proceed…

I think in any case this plugin will not do what I am looking for at the moment – I need a category discount where the buyer receives a discount if he buys more than one item in the category.

I am going to decativate the plugin for now but I will check back some time in the future to see if you have included a category discount option.

    Thank you ??

    You are in hurry ??

This feature was already added in this plugin months ago.

    Excellent!

You are so fast you are one step ahead.

    Hi, again.

I see that I should have an entry in the Woocommerce menu saying Discounts Plus but this hasn’t been created. I do have Discounts Plus as the last tab of the Woocommerce settings menu.

The usual problem is a plugin conflict – I’ll go through them.

    Plugin Author Fahad Mahmood

    (@fahadmahmood)

No, it’s not conflict. I think you need PRO version for the category based discounts feature.

    Thread Starter donmcleman

    (@donmcleman)

Ah, I see. I will look at the features of the PRO version. So with the basic version I should just have the entries on the single add a product page?

    Plugin Author Fahad Mahmood

    (@fahadmahmood)

Yes, simple version is less complicated with basic features.

Ok, thanks for all your help. I’ll do some comparing.
