PHP Deprecated: The $control_id argument…Caller plugins: elementor

    Quite nice:
    two Elementor Updates on one day….and both, 3.16.0 & 3.16.1 sending now lots of deprecation warnings, filling up my debug.log:
    Each sounds like this:
    “PHP Deprecated: The $control_id argument is deprecated since version 3.5.0! Caller plugins: elementor. Called from: register on file /xxxx/plugins/elementor/includes/managers/controls.php:521.. in /xxxx/plugins/elementor/modules/dev-tools/deprecation.php on line 359″

    But probably you will not answer once more, as you did, regarding my last post about the fact that since Update 3.15.1 SVG based Logos were destroyed, as I told here:

    There was for years no problem with the SVG Logo, but the solution was to use instead a simple JPG-Graphik….
    But no word from Elementor that they don’t handle anymore correct a SVG-Graphik, as before….

    Thank you for contacting us.

    The decprecated error happens when a 3rd party Elementor addon plugin you are using has not updated the code support the latest versions of Elementor.

    As per the error message you shared, one of the plugins you have installed is still using the ‘$control_id’ argument even though it was soft deprecated in 3.5 version.

    Soft deprecation is done so that developers can change their plugin codes accordingly.

    Please try deactivating all the plugins except Elementor and try activating one at a time to find the one causing the issue.

    thanx for answering after long time….
    there is no need for your solution:

    The deprecated error was gone with Elementor 3.16.3
    as it told in my notice.

    I don’t know if the SVG problem is gone meanwhile, as I replaced the SVG in the header, causing problems since 3.15.1, with a normal JPG Image…..
