PHP / DB Error
-
Hi everyone,
after updateing PHP 5.6 to an Higer Version (7.0, 7.4 or 8.0) my WordPress installtion give me the follwing error :
Error establishing a database connection This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or that contact with the database server at 127.0.0.1 could not be established. This could mean your host’s database server is down. Are you sure you have the correct username and password? Are you sure you have typed the correct hostname? Are you sure the database server is running? If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
When i go back to 5.6 everythin works fine.
I have tried to search for the error but the solutions i′ve found are more related to specific error messages. Since this message is very mysterious to me (DB, user and password are correct) I am a bit at a loss. Cloud somebody give me an hint please ?
