PHP 8: “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()”

    are you still develeping this plugin?
    Viewing the details of the plugin says, compatibility is up to WordPress 5.7.5 but the latest version is 5.8.3.

    If PHP 8.0 is activated, I get a problem on sending an application. On submitting the form the spinner never stops. Looking at the source code (F12 Chrome) I get this message:
    “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()”
    Nevertheless the form is being sent as the application appears in the applications section of the plugin.
    Switching PHP to 7.4, the submitted form renders the success message for our German website: “Danke für die übermittlung Ihrer Unterlagen. Wir melden uns in Kürze.”
