PHP 8 compatible?

    Hi,

    I’m getting the following error when this plugin is activated on PHP 8.0:

    TypeError thrown
    abs(): Argument #1 ($num) must be of type int|float, string given

    Is this plugin compatible with PHP 8?

    Thank you for reaching out!

    Yes, the plugin should be compatible with PHP8, but not fully with PHP8.1 at the time of writing (we are working on that).

    With that in mind, we haven’t bumped across this specific issue just yet.
    Would you happen to know precisely which PHP version you are using?

    The other possibility is that this is a conflict.
    The simplest way to find out is to setup a staging copy of your site and go through the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/
