• Hi Guys –

    I love your plugin and it’s worked perfectly for me, until I tried upgrading from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.0.27.

    When I upgrade, your plugin crashes my site. I went back to 7.4 and deactivated it, then upgraded again to 8. When I try to activate POST SMTP v2.4.3 I get:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot access offset of type string on string in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/PostmanInstaller.php:258 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/PostmanInstaller.php(75): PostmanInstaller->handleOptionUpdates() #1 /var/www/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/Postman.php(130): PostmanInstaller->activatePostman() #2 /var/www/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/postman-smtp.php(202): Postman->__construct(‘/var/www/wp-con…’, ‘2.4.3’) #3 /var/www/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/postman-smtp.php(193): post_setupPostman() #4 /var/www/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/postman-smtp.php(122): post_smtp_start(24827024) #5 /var/www/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2314): include_once(‘/var/www/wp-con…’) #6 /var/www/wp-admin/plugins.php(192): plugin_sandbox_scrape(‘post-smtp/postm…’) #7 {main} thrown in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/PostmanInstaller.php on line 258

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Mike
