    If I switch the server to PHP 8, I get the following error message when this plugin is active.

    There was a critical error on your website.

    Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.

    It seems that this plugin is not yet suitable for PHP 8.

    Required PHP version: 5.3 to 7.4.

    We have recently become aware of this issue as logged here: Issue – DOMElement::remove

    We are developing a permanent solution to be released with an upcoming update to resolve the issue for PHP8 users.

    We have just released an update which addresses the issue mentioned in the link I provided in my previous response.

    This should resolve the known incompatibility with PHP8 due to the DOMElement changes introduces by the PHP core team.

    Thanks for the first fix.

    Wordpress tells me that there is still an error with the plugin when I enable PHP 8.
