There are a variety of PHP 8.2 deprecations in the codebase living in the WooCommerce Action Scheduler dependency.

These were resolved upstream back in January 2023, but the dependency doesn’t look to have been updated in 18 months.

Would love to see a newer version of Action Scheduler bundled with both Lite and Pro version, if for no other reason, to eliminate deprecation notices when running in debug mode.

    Thanks!

    Hi @eclev91,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You should not have deprecated alerts using WPForms Lite version 1.8.5.4.

If you’re using the version 1.8.5.4, please share the details on WPForms ? Tools ? System Info.

    Thanks!

Hey folks, I’m using the premium version. I was mistaken about the lite version because I was looking in trunk and it looks like y’all don’t actually use trunk.

Premium v1.8.6, which we have active, is still using action-scheduler 3.4.2.

    Hi @eclev91,

    Thanks for letting me know!

As you’re using our paid version, please always feel free to submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard for your requests.

Regarding the Action Scheduler version, please know that our development team is working on updating from version 3.4.2 to 3.7.1. However, the team needs to carry out a series of tests to ensure that this update doesn’t break anything and cause problems.

We understand how important it is to keep the features up-to-date, but we take the prevention of issues for our users very seriously. Please rest assured that as soon as the team completes all the tests and verifies that the risk of issues is minimal, we will update the Action Scheduler to version 3.7.1 or a more recent one.

When we update the Action Scheduler version, the information will be available in our changelog.

We appreciate your understanding, and please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!
