    Yes it is.

    People asking this question have usually just upgraded from PHP 7 and found their site broken. Please read this FAQ about translation formatting if you have fatal errors.

    Many thanks for confirming. I am currently running with PHP 8.1 and have no problems with this so all sounds very promising.
