Thank you so much for this great Plugin!
Since I updated from PHP 7.4. to 8.1.9 (and down to 8.0), my WordPress Installation reported a “technical problem” and “critical Error”:

Es gab einen kritischen Fehler auf deiner Website. Bitte überprüfe den Posteingang deiner Website-Administrator-E-Mail-Adresse für weitere Anweisungen.

    WordPress-Version 6.0.1
    Aktives Theme: GeneratePress (Version 3.1.3)
Aktuelles Plugin: Visualizer: Tables and Charts for WordPress (Version 3.7.11)
    PHP-Version 8.1.9

All the charts still working like a charm.

    TIA
    Regards
    Michael

Rolled back to Version 3.7.10 and it works again.

Sorry, I had updated the PHP version at the same time as the new Charts version appeared.

However, I can state that the 3.7.11 has problems with PHP > 7.4.

    Hi @hessi2,

Thanks for choosing Visualizer, we’re glad you like it!

I just tested the latest version of the plugin with PHP 8.1 and it works properly for me, I don’t get any error and the chart is correctly displayed. Also, no other users reported this issue. Would you mind checking for a possible plugin conflict with the latest version of Visualizer? To do this safely, please install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, enable the troubleshooting mode which will deactivate all plugins, reactivate Visualizer and check if the issue persists. If the problem doesn’t occur anymore, it means it was caused by a plugin conflict and you should reactivate the plugins one by one, until you find the culprit. Then, replace that plugin with an alternative one.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Lucia!

I don’t know what was going on, but this is the third time I’ve updated, but this time it went smoothly.
Probably really a problem with one of the other plugins, but it must have been updated in the meantime.
Sorry for the hassle and thanks again for your plugin.

    Regards
    Michael

    Hi @hessi2,

I’m glad to hear the issue is solved now and you can properly use the latest version of the plugin, thanks for letting me know!
