    Hey Florian,

hope ure doing well. Wondering if this plugin is still maintained due to recent deprecation notices on PHP >= 8.1

    Hey @m0n0mind,

I am lacking the time and motivation to work on the plugin currently (and in the last months/year), and already thought about closing the plugin, but somehow I still want to try to start working on the plugin again. I’ll try to check the deprecation notices on the weekend and release a fix for that.

    Best,
    Florian

Just released version 8.2.0, which includes a composer package update to solve the deprecation notice.

    Hey Florian,

thanks very much for providing a fix!

I totally understand that! Given that support for lazy loading techniques in modern clients and webapps like WP become more and more integrated and that lazysizes hasn’t seen any major updates for the last 3 years, it seems rather cumbersome to maintain a plugin that might not go anywhere from here.

But still, knowing that you still respond to requests and try to give support really makes a difference!

I really appreciate all the hard work you invested in this really well-written and really useful plugin so far! ??

    All the best,
    Daniel
