PHP 7.4 and Polylang

  • Hi,

    since having updated from PHP 7.3 to 7.4, I’m experiencing problems upon accessing my website.

    Polylang seems to route with a permanent redirect (error 301) first to domain.com, next to domain.com/://:/ and afterwards to domain.com/:/:/

    Next I get displayed a page with 404 error.

    Once I select the home page manually by clicking on the language icon within the menu, things work fine.

    The problem occurs randomly. The host checked the debug log files. Everything’s fine. However, he indicated the problem seems to be created by Polylang.

    I’m puzzled about this. So thanks for your help from the experts here.
