We get the following error, which prevents admin login on WP Engine:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘EnableMediaReplace\\ShortPixelLogger\\ShortPixelLogger’ not found in /wp-content/plugins/enable-media-replace/classes/emr-plugin.php:85

    WordPress 5.2.2

Please let me know if you need the full stack trace.
    Thanks

We noticed this happening on hosts which don’t have the json PHP extension. It will be fixed in 4.14.4 on our side, could you please in the meantime try activating this extension from your cPanel?

The host is WP Engine, so I’ll have to find a work around for now. Do you have an ETA on the next release?

    Thanks for the reply.

@klaansoo – could you please try this dev version of EMR plugin here and see if has the issue noted by you solved?

I’d appreciate your follow-up on this.

    Hi Alex,

I tested the plugin on multiple local servers running both PHP 7.2 and PHP 7.3 and it works, but still the same error on WP Engine. I’m going to do a bit of debugging and see if I can pinpoint where the error is happening and let you know if I do.

    Thanks,

    Hi Alex,

I haven’t forgotten about this. I can’t give you access to this site as it’s a client site, however, here is the php info link:

    https://www.infiniteenergy.com/phpinfo.php

    So maybe this will help.

    Thanks,

    Hi Alex,

On its own, it doesn’t have the media-replace option. Is this dev plugin required with the original?

    Thanks,

    Karen,
sorry for my slow reply first of all!

I may have mixed up things here as you’re referring to EMR in a ShortPixel Image Optimizer forum ??

Maybe it would be best to contact me directly here to try to figure out a solution for this?

    Regards,
    Alex
