PHP 7.0 compatibility issue

    One host SiteGround wants us to upgrade to php 7.0. Running a test with their tool SG Optimizer, Events Manager Pro is flagged with an error. The error is almost identical to one discussed 7 months ago in this thread:

    However our issue is with Pro Version 2.5.1

    Sorry for the delayed reply. Our latest plugin versions are compatible with PHP 7 and passed the compatibility checker at the time of publication.

    It may be that the checker has been improved on and is highlighting more errors, but in many cases these will be warnings and advisories rather than show-stoppers. The plugin does work with PHP 7

    We’re aware of some issues with PHP 7.2+ and the use of a now-deprecated function called create_function() and those will get fixed in the next update, but any version prior to 7.2 should be fine.
