The changelog says: “Updated: PHP requirement bumped to 5.6″
The system requirements on your web site states: “PHP version 5.3 or greater (PHP 5.6 or greater recommended)”

Could PHP 5.4.31 create any trouble when updating from MainWP 3.2 to the newest 3.2.1?
    Thanks.

Pieter, apologies for the inconvenience. PHP 5.6 is a recommendation. We made a mistake by saying “requirement” in our changelog.

We have bumped up the PHP recommendation to 5.6 even though the plugin should work fine on 5.4+ because the WordPress itself requires this version. This is more something to encourage users to update PHP on their servers since PHP 5.4 and 5.5 reached EOL (end of life) and there is no active support for it.

The MainWP Dashboard will work fine on PHP 5.4, however, some extensions require at least 5.5. MainWP Child plugin still works properly on 5.4 and newer.

    Ok, I see.
Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
Keep up the good work on this awesome plugin.
