php 5.5.0 and WP 4.1

    Hi,
    I want to use curlfile.
    My WP is 4.1
    PHP is 5.4.45

    i want to know if WP 4.1 support the Version PHP 5.5.0 or not ?

    WordPress 4.1 is seriously out of date. Update to 4.6.1 ASAP. PHP 5.4 is seriously out of date. Update to 5.6 or 7.0 ASAP.

    WP 4.1 will run on PHP 5.4.

    hi,
    I fear if I do the update I lose the data of my site.

    As with all things computer-related, Backup is the key to addressing your fears. Backup both the files and database used by WordPress.

    Then you can try the Updates and restore from backup if they don’t work out.

    But, people do updates all the time and don’t lose data from their site.
