Is there a way to submit the updated plugin to the WordPress repo, or to the original maintainers for an updated version, or at least to get the info onto the original plugin site?

Great! Yeah, I’m in the process of hopefully being added as a committer so I can at least commit this fix, but I’m not really interested in maintaining it; but maybe I could do some work to find someone to take it over.

I installed Aubrey’s updated version but it does not appear on the left menu as it used to and when I go to add a photo album to a page, I no longer see the little icon to insert Photo Album.

just updated and (after quick tests, including new uploads) it seems to all work fine!
The one “glitch” I encountered is that after using the git version and upgrading to 1.3.6 through wordpress, the system had “forgotten” that the plugin was activated and I had to do this manually again. Otherwise, it simply works as it used to.

This was because the git version was called wp-easy-photo-album and the WP version is called easy-photo-album, which leads to two different folder names (to WP, two different plugins). Glad to hear all is well!

Hi Aubrey, The update works great, except I just discovered that moving images up & down to put them in a different order does not save.

I will look into it. See issue here.
