Photos/video not showing in posts

    The second time I have written on this but now with more information. The posts that I shared with facebook and twitter did not include the photo from the post. Most those photos are less than 500x500pixels which is the best quality for Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

    You told me to look at the edit page at the bottom. I actually did that and saw where you put in the picture to share there.

    Two things. The photo is already uploaded, therefore I shouldn’t have to upload it again… especially at the outrageous size of 1200x 620 pixels. I have a busy site and cant have several photos taking up all my space.

    Secondly, as a test, I did put a 1200x630p picture the to see what would happen. It id not post to either facebook or twitter.

    Please help explain this obvious error.

    The dimensions of the pic should not be the issue. The ones we state are just recommendations, but sharing should work either way.

    On which specific url do you face the issue? And you uploaded a pic for that page?

    Please also note the following:

    1. If you have a cache plugin installed, please disable it temporarily

    2. Note that the social media platforms first need to scrape the new sharing information from your website. They do this in regular intervals, but it’s not immediate. If you want to speed things up for selected posts/pages, then please do the following:

    – For Facebook: Please enter the url of the page you want to share on https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/, click on “Debug” and on the following page on “Scrape again”
    – For Twitter: Click on https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator, enter the website url, and then click on “Preview card”

    Does that work?
