• On my Macbook I am looking at the blog and I see the photos at a normal size. On my husbands Mac, the photos are so huge he has to scroll to the side and up and down to see a portion of a photo. I have had only one other comment on the size of the photos on the blog. I have reduced their size in photoshop but the issue is still on his computer.

Can anyone tell me why this would be doing this? Is there something I can do in order for all computers to see the correct size of a photo?

    Any ideas?

What browsers are you using? Where’s the site? Do you have the image sizes set? If you just upload images and add them to the site without using sizing methods, then they’ll display exactly the same size as they are when you upload. So if the image file is 1000px x 1000px, and you don’t set the image height and width, then it’ll display as 1000x1000px. Some browsers display them differently. My guess is your husband is using IE6 to view. There’s one big issue. Tell him to upgrade. LOL but you’re not giving us much info to go on – all we can do with what you gave us is take stabs in the dark. More info will get you better replies.

It could be something as simple as just needing a “browser” re-fresh to clear the cache of his machine. But it sounds more like a Mac issue.

Have you tried looking at it from a different machine / OS?

Other computers other than our mac’s have had the same issue.

I have taken all photos and resized them in photoshop and adjusted their quality size. Again same problem.

https://www.btsphotos.com is the site. I have deleted the larger files due to clients saying their computers freeze.

what do you suggest I resize the photos too?
