Photos from FB profile are not imported and wrong username created if cyrillic

    Hi! I found strange beaviour how the plugin processes names of FB users presented in cyrillic symbols: they are imported to WP with not correct username – simply dash. The correct behaviour is to transliterate them.

    Additionally I found that the FB profile picture is not imported, but just a default gray gravatar image.

    Hello,

    Per default WordPress does not allow to use special characters in usernames. Non-latin characters are silently filtered out and your users cannot create accounts containing cyrillic (russian) or arabic letters.
