    Hi there,

I really hope you can help! I set up the plugin to work with Smugmug for a new client I am taking over. I set up the API and authorized this as the directions suggested.

I then tried to integrate some galleries using the Photonic link in the “add media” area and when I saved this, I could see the Smugmug icon on the “visual” editor, but nothing shows on the page itself when saved or previewed.

In fact, if you “view source” of the page, it seems as though the tags don’t exist at all!

I tested this plugin with the same API and settings on my personal website, and everything works, so I am assuming it is the theme or the visual editor being used that is conflicting (which I do not have authorization to change).

The theme being used is Bridge by Qode Interactive, and this theme utilizes Visual Composer.

Are there any suggestions of what I can try to make this work?

The test page I am using is: https://barringtonhomespa.com/gallery-test-page/

    Thank you in Advance!!

    Chrystal

It is likely that your theme defines its own version of the gallery shortcode. This is pretty easy to resolve, though, and the very first option within Photonic addresses it. Go to Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Generic Settings → Custom Shortcode, and provide a shortcode name of your choosing. You will be able to use it without it conflicting with anything else.

    Hey Sayontan!

I failed to mention in yesterday’s post that I had already tried that (after reading about other’s having issues with that).

I believe I talked the client into just having me redesign the site with a new theme all together (that I know the plugin works on). So fixing this isn’t a huge issue. I also just wanted you to know that it isn’t working with that particular model of theme in case that arises again in the future ??
