Photon WEBP

While WebP images are supported on Jetpack sites with the Photon image service activated, this format isn’t currently supported on all browsers. There is a list of browsers that support WebP here:

Are you using one of the supported browsers in that list?

but with the photon enabled the webp format is not displayed.

Do you mean WebP images were being loaded before Photon was activated? But haven’t been since then?

Yes, we are testing on a compatible browser.

When we deactivate Photon the webp images are displayed, when we activate them they are presented in the other formats.

If you can activate Photon and let us know you’ve done so, we can check what is happening. Also, which browser and version number are you using when the WebP images aren’t being displayed?
