Photon Failure Messages in Header and Post

For me, the fix was/is to “deactivate” the Photon plugin in Jetpack. This solved the symptom. As soon as I re-activate, the problem comes back. So I will wait an see if Jetpack resolves this. So far, I have not heard back from my Jetpack support request. I’m hoping they fix, as I would like to take advantage of their CDN for image caching.

just want to say I added define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false ); to my wp-config.php but the problem still persists. Only on one page though.

Dtarin – same with me. On that page, try to reinsert the image or reupload and reinsert. That worked on my troublesome page.

That isn’t realistic on a large site such as I have. Hundreds if not more images. Has anyone heard of any new patch coming out?

gmfpanda – yes, that’s so true. I’ve been holding off enabling Photon on my larger sites until I know this error is taken care of. But on the sites where it just showed on one page, reinserting the image seemed to work.

Looking through the Jetpack changelog it looks like there are some specific changes that address these issues in Photon. See the change log here:

Guessing this will be fixed in the next version of Jetpack.

I just did new jetpack and re-enabled photon. Now no images are cached by photon. It behaves as if deactivated..

Just to make sure, have you updated to version 2.1? It was just released yesterday.

I am. It appears if I resize the image it doesnt use photon, it uses my site. I am finding only images I resize (smaller) not using photon.

The bug causing the array_key_exists error was fixed as of Jetpack 2.1.

gmfpanda, the issue you’re seeing sounds like a different problem. Could you start a new thread?
