Photolistic theme featured post/images not showing up.

Hi there,

I am working on this site – https://www.showroom-publication.co.uk/blog/

I have only just installed it and short of changing the header slightly, so far i have not touched anything else.
In the preview for the theme, it shows featured posts/images under the large header image, but i only seem to have a box with dotted lines for borders top and bottom. I have an option to select how many featured posts i want to display and i have left it at the default three. curious for an answer so any help much appreciated!
