• Hi,

    I have downloaded five themes from Photocrati, but when I activate one of them nothing much happens, even though the activation is confirmed. For instance, the buttons (home, gallery etc…) are always still vertical, not horisontal as they should be. Also, I get an error message when I click one of the small images below the main image on the home page (theme Viewfinder). Maybe a stylesheet might be missing? What can I do?

    Grateful for suggestions!

  • Hi,

    -> Disable all the plugins and enable it one by one to find out the culprit
    -> Clear the browser cache
    -> assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-contents folder

    Also provide your blog URL so that can check give the proper assistance.

    Thanks,

    Thanks!

    My URL is https://www.sveinrishovd.com.

    The browser cache is cleared, and the only plugin I have installed is NextGen Gallery 1.3.5. Being a novice I’m afraid I don’t understand your third suggestion…..

    I had some minor problems during installation and uploading (my first time ever, registered with Bluehost and installed all necessary software yesterday), and at one point I did get a message saying (as I recall it) that a stylesheet was missing.

    This css file is missing in your theme directory. Try re-uploading it. If you do not find it in the theme pack, well, you must have paid for it and you know what to do!
