Photocrati background issues, who else?

  • I recently got the photocrati theme and it seems there are many issues revolving the background settings.

    There are two background options:

    Regular page background settings
    Homepage background settings.

    The Homepage background settings involve a few options one of which is a slideshow.
    This works perfectly on a mobile phone and when you have actual content on it the background is fixed in place and the content area is able to scroll.

    The regular page background settings are a disaster and they [expletive deleted by moderator] up your background image, it’s distorted and enlarged the more content is present on your page which you can view here: https://www.mitchellvantzelfde.com/galleries/

    Now Drew from photocrati’s support is unable to reproduce this, it works great on his Nexus 6. But As I told him 100 times already, it works like [expletive deleted by moderator] on a iPhone 5s, 6s, HTC ONE, HTC ONE X, Samsung galaxy and a bunch of other Samsung android phones.

    In other words Drew doesn’t want to acknowledge the issue because on his “phone” which i expect to be an emulator on a computer shows no sign of my issue.

    So my question is how many other people have the Photocrati theme and a background image on pages with content and have the same issue as can be seen on my website.

    Some screenshots showing the homepage background is actually fixed and content scrolls and the background stays fixed. Which is perfect:

    Homepage non distorted nor enlarged

    Background fixed and content scrolls

    And now the regular pages where u see the branch is enlarged to hell. And the background image is not fixed and isnt actually a background image as there is a bg colour:

    If they will not provide the support you paid for, you’re sorta out of luck. Sorry, but we cannot support commercial themes or plugins here. Maybe another user who uses the same stuff will be notice and be able to help.
