Photoblog from external smugmug gallery?

Hi,
My gallery is hosted on smugmug. Though I see a lot of plugins for pulling photos from flickr, there is nothing about a generalized plugin.
For example I have my photos hosted elsewhere. When I give wordpress a link i.e. I make a post with an image from my site, wordpress could automatically generate thumbnail or pull a thumbnail from the smugmug site.
Actually in smugmug any pic will have the name as
<some number>-<type>.jpg
<type> could be th, S, M, L etc.,
Suppose I post a -s Image, wordpress could possibly automatically pull in the -th image.
Has anybody seen such a plugin?

If thats not possible how about a plugin where I specify which image to use and which thumbnail to use for that image. That would also suffice. This plugin could be used with any photo hosting site.
