Photo Orientation Issue
-
HI there,
I am at a loss. I have only been using wordpress for probably three months, starting a mom blog while I was on maternity leave. I have created 14 posts, and planning on more before my actual blog launch where I will share my website URL to friends and family.
My issue: I started wordpress on my desktop – macbook pro, and occasionally add photos that are not on my desktop from my phone, or vice versa, picking up where I left off depending on where I am for the day. I figured this wouldn’t be a problem, but I’m noticing some of my photos that are completely legible and the correct orientation when I upload them turn the wrong orientation after the upload. I’ve tried correcting the issue as soon as I upload it by editing in the media library before even adding it to my post or page, and it will fix, BUT then when I visit the site from my other device, it shows up the wrong way. I’ve gone over this a million times thinking ok this time it will fix it, but it hasn’t. I’ve even deleted the image from the library and re-uploaded thinking maybe it was just a glitch, but it still will upload sideways or whatever, leaving me to have to flip it and then it show up the wrong way on the other device.
An example right now is if you visited my site, https://www.fromlyssiiwithlove.com, from your desktop and scrolled down, everything looks PERFECT. I am also viewing the site from my iPhone 6plus, and when you get to the “latest from my blog” section the image of the “crock pot recipe” is sideways, and the image of “home with baby Bristol”, and “first days of being mama” posts, all of those featured images are the wrong way AND the photos inside the page will all be flip flopped. It’s very confusing even to try and fix. I want to honestly delete all of the posts and start over, but having a three month old, I cannot do so and honestly shouldn’t have to.
Please Please advise me. I’ve tried asking the theme makers and they keep saying they fixed it, but it’s not fixed!! I would LOVE to email versus using this if possible, so i can get to dong this as quickly as possible. Thank you so much!
