photo of the day by day

We have the option to link a photo to a day number of the month. Just select Display method: Change every … day of month is order#.

If you could live with that, it would be nice.

I will add the Change every … day of week is order# option in a later version.

cant wait for your next version. because i only need monday until sunday photo of the day

can you give me how to edit day of month into day of week.

Select the ‘Change every Day of mobth is order#’ setting on the photo of the day admin page.

Select the album to be used.

Edit the album and give the photo for next monday order # 17, the photo for tuesday: 18 and so on to the photo for next sunday: 23.

By that time there will be a version where you can select ‘Change every Day of week is order#’, where number 0 is for sunday, 1 for monday … 6 for saturday.

I’m wondering if there is any way to somehow make this pic of the day thing into some coding I can enter into the main body of a page? This would be a great feature if possible.

Actually, I no longer need a shortcode – I’ve changed my graphics and I’m happy with the sidebar. However, I am struggling to get the same thing that embarz is doing above. Please take a look: https://badassjacks.info/welcome/

When will this be incorporated into an updated plugin? It’s a fantastic plugin and does almost exactly what I need it to do!

Shortcode for photo of the day: [wppa type="photo" photo="#potd"][/wppa]

You are so eager, so i decided to release this feature already. I did not bump the version count.

Do the following on the plugins page:

de-activate wp-photo-album-plus
delete wp-photo-album-plus
add new pluging wp-photo-album-plus
activate wp-photo-album-plus

go to Photo ALbus -> Photo of the day,
Select Change every day of week is order#
Select the proper album.

Make sure you have photos in the album with seguence order # 1 .. 7.

Note: Sunday is 7, not 0 as stated above, to avoid the default #0.
