Photo Gallery stops working after latest Update

    Hi,

    After updating to Ver 1.66, my Photo Gallery plugin doesn’t load. I have contacted the plugin provider for the Photo Gallery, who have advised the following :-

    “Our development team has checked the problem on your website and discovered that it is caused by your website theme. They suspect that the particular trigger of the problem could be the slider of the theme.

    Could you please contact the development team of your website theme and ask them to have a look at the issue?”

    Any help you could provide with this issue would be appreciated.

    Thank you for writing in,

    The theme features are working properly, the plugins are the extension and if it is not working in theme then you should request them to fix this issue. This is not the theme related issue. If your theme features are not working then let us know we will look into your issue and provide you with the proper solution.

    Thank you. Your team provided the following resolution :-

    “I am happy to inform you, that our development team has resolved the problem on your website. Could you please have a look? I should note, that we have made a custom change, as jQuery(document).ready function does not work with your website theme.

    Please be informed, that there has been made a custom change, which indeed, will be cleared out in case of updating Photo Gallery plugin. The following file was modified by our developers:

    /photo-gallery/js/bwg_frontend.js

    You can create a backup of this file and replace it with the original file in case an update of Photo Gallery is installed.”
