Photo Gallery / Slideshow Suggestions

  • Hi there, we recently installed latest version of WordPress and wanted to know if anyone can suggest a gallery or slideshow that we can add to our website.

    Basically we are looking for the gallery/slidewhow to be the main function of the 1st page.

    Something similar to this would be great: https://fivebyfive.com.ar/wp-themes/demo/.

    The only thing that I dont like about the above demo is that i think you cant update your images through the word press csm. It looks that you have to create thumb nail images and re-size your images.

    Also the other thing I dont like about above example is that it seems that it only has 3-4 links on the main page and there dosent seem to be an option to add a few more.

    I would like to have at-least 5-6 links on the main page.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

  • You’re wrong.

    Using those themes, you can upload your images and create the thumbnails with WordPress. They are just themes, they don’t change the way WordPress works.

    Also, you can change the links on the main page editing the theme from the admin panel. Read the instructions for how to do that.
