    Hi,

After updating your plugin to v1.5.23, the gallery literally fell apart… images were one per line with large gaps between them. Have now restored the site to the older version.

Pleeeeeease… quit issuing updates that don’t work properly. This has to be the worse plugin for issuing updates that fail. ??

  • WP 5.2, plugin 1.5.23 –> disaster

Same problem here, needed to restore old version…

How do you restore to old version? System restore?

    Hi,

Please note that the issue is not related to WP 5.2, but the Themes which you are using. Our development team is investigating now the issue.

    Thank you for your understanding!

    Have a nice day!

I set the Developer Mode to Yes and the problem solved.

I use the Divi theme (Elegant themes)

“We are kindly asking you to navigate to Photo Gallery / Settings / General / Developer Mode and select Yes option.”

There is no “Settings” option under the sub-menu for “Photo Gallery” – where do I find it? Or is it only available on the Premium mode? My galleries are also not displaying correctly since the upgrade.

    Thanks

    @kimabaghdasaryan
Are you 100% sure of your assestment? My logic says the contrary:
    1. your plugin worked well, my theme worked well, all the rest worked well
    2. you publish an update
    3. everything Photo Gallery related goes broken, rest is stil ok
    4. debug.log spitting the following: PHP Notice: Undefined variable: share_url in /xxx/wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/frontend/views/BWGViewGalleryBox.php on line 1399
    5. Developer mode as far as I see is only to avoid the use of minified js, css in your plugin…

    Get your conclusions.
    Kind regards,

    Options not Settings

Photo Gallery / Options/ General / Developer Mode

    Hi everyone,

@designlcn we’re sorry for the trouble. We are currently working on fixing this problem so that the plugin will operate correctly with Developer Mode set to No.

I would also like to note, that this is a conflict with some (not all) WordPress themes.

In the meantime, please navigate to Photo Gallery > Options page, open General tab and set Developer Mode to Yes.

    Thanks!

Many thanks, that’s worked as a temporary fix. How will we get notification when the issue is resolved and we can deselect developer mode?
