photo gallery issue

  • Please, since migrating our wordpress.com website to our own host, I have been having trouble with creating a photo gallery now that we are designing our website on www.remarpro.com

    We are using the Dara Theme for our website kgsf.org

    Originally we designed the site using wordpress.com but couldn’t migrate the same gallery format for our Photos page. (would installing JetPack on our WP.org platform address that issue?)
    So I downloaded the FooGallery plug in, but after I created a gallery in FooGallery, I can’t get it to show up on the Photos page.
    I click the Add FooGallery button on the Edit page, and the gallery I created gets added. Then I click Update, but it doesn’t show up when I view the page.
    Any advice for me? Is FooGallery compatible with the Dara Theme?

    Are you referinng to tiled galleries? If so, you can get the same tiled galleries that WordPress.com has built in by activating the Jetpack plugin.

    Jetpack will also get you the image carousel that’s on WordPress.com:

    I’m not familiar with FooGallery, but Dara doesn’t do anything unusual, so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work. You could try asking in the plugin’s forum.
