  • @wsj101: I had this issue too but I found that there’s an option in the insert media screen >> Media library that allows you to select the source of media. The (currently) second drop down has an option for “view all GDWPM Categories” which then shows you the media you have downloaded from GDrive.

Once I got past this, I realized that there’s no easy way to import multiple images into the media library at once. The radio inputs design simply prevents this. Any of the following would make this process MUCH easier…

    a) The ability to select multiple images when importing them from GD.
    b) Selecting a folder should download it’s contents, not the folder itself. (a folder is hardly media)
    c) Add a settings option to enable automatic media download whereby fetching the contents of the shared GD folders automatically adds the files into the media library. This will COMPLETELY avoid the whole processes of manually selecting files to download from dropbox and make it look like the media library is actually in-sync with GDrive all the time.

I believe you are referring to adding GDWPM images to a page within WP. I agree that you can do that. I am referring specifically to inserting GDWPM images into the plugin “Photo Gallery”. I now have verification from Web Dorado (who makes the Photo Gallery plugin) that they do not support remote access to images. (You can check my post on the Web Dorado forum if you are interested.)

    Hello all ??

@wsj101 the Photo Gallery plugin is use upload dir to scan/collect the files not the the media libary. so it’s only detect file that physically exist in upload dir, cmiiw

@fedyanyet thanks for your concern, just wait what I can do

I think the problem with the images on drive are caused by this same issue I brought up here
