    Wonderful plugin, thanks! I have read all your documentation but still have this problem:

    When I share my photo (large) the tweet appears initially with no photo, only link and the link to VIEW PHOTO. Photo is only visible when clicking on the View Photo Link.

    I want the photo to appear on the twitter feed from the outset. How can I do this?

    Photos that appear on my twitter are via pasting photos, not sharing posts.

    This should work. You have the right settings and Twitter validator is ok. But remember it only regards next tweets. If for some reasons you change configuration previous tweets won’t be updated with cards.

    Thanks for your prompt reply. I understand it will apply to new posts, not old. However, even when I “share” a new one on twitter, the photo will only appear if I click on View Photo. The photo doesn’t show automatically, without having to click on View Photo.
    Any advice? thanks!

    OK – Apologies but I am having issues again with the plug in. When I go to a new post on my website https://www.CarolinesFamilyKitchen.com and I go to share a post on twitter @FoodieCaroline, the tweet will show the photo only if I click on VIEW PHOTO. It won’t show the photo without clicking on the View Photo. All the tweets I have posted on twitter with my recipes, have therefore been done directly on twitter, attaching a photo, etc. But for viewers of my site, who would like to share my recipes, I would like the photo to appear from the start, not just if I click on the View Photo option. Thanks!

    Hi, I’m afraid this is due to Twitter itself. Probably some kinda of privacy rules and we can’t do anything about it. The plugin just adds the necessary markup.

    So tweeting with media is probably a better approach in your case.

    Same issue for me.

    You can compare two tweets :

    The first one came from a share from my site

    The second one is manually added

    The kind of tweet is not exactly the same.
    I’m pretty sure some settings could be changed somewhere to reach this result…
