    Hi Jannis,

I just installed your email/phone number obfuscator on my Avada website (thelivemusicagency.com.au), but in the footer of all my pages, it is displaying your shortcode along with my phone number, instead of just my phone number alone: [eeb_protect_content]+12 345 678901[/eeb_protect_content]

I just enclosed my phone number in the Avada widgets box with your shortcode.. Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks, Stu.

Hey @stumur – We’ve tried the Shortcode within the Footer of a clean WordPress installation and it encoded it correctly. Can you please share some more details on how you add it and where exactly?

    Thanks.

Yes, of course mate, thank you. I just entered the text in an Avada footer widget in Appearance>>Widgets>>Footer Widget Area 5. That widget area has subsections for Title:, Address:, Phone:, Email: … Anyway, I just filled in the phone one, and enclosed it in your [eeb_protect_content]+61 432 917 201[/eeb_protect_content], which you can still see displayed in my footer now, at: thelivemusicagency.com.au

    Thanks,

    Stu

Hey @stumur – Thanks for the additional details.

I’ve looked into their core and Avada doesn’t seem to support shortcodes within their code. I suggest to open a ticket with them to ask them to add shortcode support to their widgets.
