Phone Numbers Decreasing by Single Digit

  • Hi,

    I am facing an issue that is causing all (or most) of my phone umber entries to increase or decrease by a single digit. For instance, if I put in a phone number as 401-555-1234 and then search for it and view the number it will show as 401-555-1233. IS this being caused by the hyphens? Is anyone else having this issue? I was unable to find another thread on it.

    I really appreciate any help you can provide.

    I had it set as a text-line, not a numeric value.

    A phone number should be a text-line because a numeric field will only accept numbers or a hyphen as the first character. Do you see the value change in the admin when you look at the record?

    Yes, the number changes for Admin view as well as for the participant listing view. These values are a mixed bag of CSV populated and manually entered values.

    Yes, well if it is a test field, that should be fine.

    Under what circumstances does the value change? Is this comparing the value in your spreadsheet to the value in the plugin database?
