Phone number field never changes in entries

    I have the visual pro version and have noticed that the input field for phone number never changes from one form to the next. The number return is always the same from different users in all form responses for this particular form. I have contacted them by email to get their right phone number and all of them said that they had entered it on the form. What should I check into to see what could be causing the phone number field not to change?
