Phone number being changed

  • My contact phone number is on the header of every page of my site. I hired a marketing company for a few months and I guess for googe tracking, they make a chage to my code and I can’t figure out how to find it. When I go to my site, I see the orrect number. I get calls all the time though from people and when I asked which number they reached me on, it’s always a number that I’ve never heard of. I get the calls but they are random numbers which are forwarded to me. This is a problem because often these people need to then send me more info via text and if they send it to the number thay called, I don’t get the text. Can somebody tell me what code I should be looking for to change or remove? Thanks for any help that you can offer;

    Since this was a custom change, you may have to go back to your developer team and ask them.

    Have you solved the issue? I found the same issue today on my site in the footer. The number changed a few times, and every time was a different number, some times show the words Contact Phone Number. I didn’t make any changes recently. I am wondering may be it’s a conflict of the plugins or theme?

    yes. In my case it had nothing to do with WordPress. It was caused by a setting in my Google Ads account. If you use Google Ads, I can tell you where to look.
