Phone Number Auto Format

We haven’t done this so let’s see if others in the forum have done something similar and share their solution here.

Why auto format when typing in the mobile number?

Why not save the number as entered by the user and display the mobile number in profile forms with the format “(123) 456-7890” and make the number clickable for an auto call.
