• BOUGHT THE ULTIMATE VERSION
    1. BAD DOWNLOAD LINK FOR PLUGIN – the main website is disfuntional & ‘loopy’. Could not access a link to download the pro-plugin, just kept sending me in a loop: my email receipt -> linked to dashboard/profile/account -> product download linked me to buy again.
    2. PHISHING FOR ACCESS TO MY DASHBOARD ON MY WEBSITE – developer responded by PHISHING asking for access to my website dashboard so they could install it for me. (I REFUSED)
    3. DEVELOPER MALICLY EDITS PERSONAL PURCHASE RECORDS – recorded my screen as I was reviewing the loop with no download link & all the sudden a link for the api download appeared in their webstie account menu. MAGIC!
    EXAMPLES: my account page on their website has been edited repeatedly since the purchase. *edited my username *edited my email *edited my password – So I had to reset these during the process of downloading the plugin.
    5. ARGUES WITH ME INSTEAD OF ISSUEING REFUND – insults me & my inteligence & my wordpress abilites to avoid refunding me.

    OVERALL HOW IT WORKED
    Someone should take over this plugin. It could work, but DEVELOPER WONT STAY OUT OF IT & API ACCESS IS EDITED WHILE ACTIVE ON SITE.

    NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

    Developer of this plugin now insists I remove my review in order to get a refund.
    Honest reviews are part of the sytem.
    NOTE: My review was no way part of the transaction of the plugin. It will not be part of the refund either.

    This is really something strange. Just read the review from very first line it’s complain against our premium version, then how it can be honest ?

    For everyone it’s hard to know everything related to WooCommerce, here happened the same the same thing. User is sort of knowledge in WP/WC usual behavior, even it’s Order Status.

    She is demanding refund, well good. We are happy to do that but first we were going to clarify the things as there was no fault from our end.

    As we hold her refund she going for such un-ethical way to fulfill that, is that right?

    That makes all feedback about that experience valid. You opened the door for that and I’m sorry, but this review is feedback for that experience. It’s not a very articulate review and I need you to honestly answer my next question.

    This part is wrong and I am going to email the plugins team. I’ve copied that from your own forum and preserved that.

    But leaving a one star review at www.remarpro.com for paid plugin is no way ethical. I am requesting you, please remove that. I’ve preserved a complete copy of that HTML and what you replied with.

    As you remove that I will proceed with your refund and end the topic please.

    That’s on your forums and you can do what you like there and that really has nothing to do with these forums on www.remarpro.com. But your users here should be aware of that.

    I am also going to take a very close look at your reviews here to be safe.

    Sorry We don’t have such intension to irretate
    Moderators with our replies.

    But this review is for pressurising on us to follow her demands so we ask for clarification.

    It’s may happen some one is not happy with our free or paid addon, but for refund throwing such review is a big threat to plugin authors.

    Users will use this as a easy way to make fulfil their demands from authors.

    Yeah right, we have a fault to ask client’s site access to help her by moving forward one step ahead.

    User herself made some restricted changes to her account just after purchase so she was blocked.

    Most painful is that user don’t have enough knowledge about a e-commerce system but she blammed us as we are doing things intentionally.

    Reading that thread… OP had a problem, you asked for access to her site, she said no. Okay. So far so good. The menu she needed to access was missing. Yep that’s a problem.

    Then the thread ends.

    So this looks like she had a terrible experience with your upsell product.

    Review stands, it’s someone’s experience with your product, and that is absolutely legitimate.

    I would personally give her a refund and cancel the account so it’s unusable. Done and done.

    Really thanks for sharing your thoughts into it.

    Yeah right, thread ends there as user communicate further in mail.

    The main issue was due to her activity, here the copy from mail and these are her own words –

    “I changed my username or login name earlier today as well as my password & email.
    I dont want to use magicaltar for my username. Site wont let me change it, when I click the button to do so, it wont submit.”

    It’s not possible for us to always keep track what users are doing. As she reported the issue we look into it restore her account.

    As we are doing some monetary transactions so have to keep some security.

    We have never object to refund but this is not the right way to demand that.

    I’m sorry, but I see nothing wrong with someone wanting to change a username. If the code allows it to be done, then it’s clearly not restricted or prohibited, just not recommended.

    Yes, she made it more difficult to track her account, and YES, that’s a terrible idea (changing usernames) because of billing drama, but obviously it wasn’t impossible. That’s not HER fault if your system allowed it to happen. Your system security is absolutely not her responsibility. It’s yours.

    You need to stop blaming the customer for everything. Yes, that’s what you’re doing right now. It may not be what you meant but it’s what you did.

    It’s also true we are really new to this forum, may have sort of knowledge, really SORRY for that.

    Few days back we got a very strange reply from another plugin author –

    We were surprised and shocked, now finally it’s clear to us, why they just ignored such forum.

    We are happy with One Start review and more happy to issue the Refund. But the way it is coming not at all acceptable.
