Persons gallery and hiking trails?

Hi,
I’d like to create a persons gallery and I think a custom post type would be the easiest way to handle all the different persons.
I’m planning on having a photo and then some personal details and a small biography.
Will this plugin be able to do this?

If possible I’m also interested in creating a post type for nice hiking trails using a google maps route where I’d like to enter some information about the trail and pros and cons of it.
Will it fix this too?
