In our newsletters in the footer we have added a new social account not present in the default list of MailPoet.

By uploading its image to Media, after sending the news does not show the image of the new social network, not even in the preview on the news site.

To make sure it is displayed, you need to upload it into the mailpoet folder here: /wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/assets/img/newsletter_editor/social-icons/09-line-roundrect/

But every time the plugin is updated, the change is obviously lost.

Thanks for answer and possible solutions

    Hi there @gdm57 ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

But every time the plugin is updated, the change is obviously lost.

Oh, yes, that file will be replaced every time you update the plugin. You can click on the Add Another Social Network button. Then select Custom, and you will be able to select an image located on your site. For instance in the WordPress Media Library.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers!

    Hi there @gdm57,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
