Personal Portal with dashboard

  • I am designing a site where teachers need to log in and look at lesson plans that war specific for them. I want my site to have a log in feature that will bring them to their personal dashboard, where they can look at there lesson plans, personal payment statuses and such and such. I want to be able to give certain users access to certain pages on their dashboard. I am wondering if there is a plugin that can do this simply.

  • You are describing a membership plugin. There are lots of plugins available that meets your needs. The thing about the various membership plugins is some are very feature rich and may have quite a learning curve.

    You want to make sure the plugin meets all your requirements but leaves out those things that are not important to you.A basic membership plugin is Members. You might want to start looking at Members and move up from there if you have additional needs.
