    I have implemented cookiebot on a client’s WordPress site (I had to copy the JS manually into my head tag before it worked. I don’t know if it’s a bug but it only worked after I copied in the script tag manually).

    So, I have done a scan and the result seems fine except that I have “Personal Data is transmitted to Adequate countries only” highlighted in red flag. Please How do I fix this? Will this be automatically fixed when I upgrade my subscription? Also, The website really need to be CCPA compliant. However, I have checked the CCPA option in the plugin but there is no sign that CCPA is enabled. I didn’t see the do not sell my personal information link. Am I to add the links and update the privacy policy myself? Also, how do I go about obtaining consent from Minors?

    Regarding to “Personal Data is transmitted to Adequate countries only”, this doesn’t have anything to do with your subscription type. Since the Schrems II ruling, the United States is no longer considered an “adequate country”. As a consequence, whenever data is transmitted to USA, you’ll see these warnings.

    Regarding the CCPA option, this allows you to display different banners for Californians than to the rest of the world. The CCPA type banner has a checkbox that is labelled “Do Not Sell My Personal Information”, which opts out of all optional cookie categories when checked.
    There is a link that does this on the Cookie Declaration as well, which is the second script on the Your scripts tab in the Manager.

    Finally, regarding obtaining consent from minors: We don’t have any specific feature for to help you in this regard.
