Personal Blog on new page, but how to add new posts

  • I need a personal blog on a new page called MyBlog. For this I add this new page and set it to: Visible to logged in users only
    Access only for the groups: Admin + MyRelations. So far so good.
    I can see the old posts but not a button to add new post.

    Is it possible to use a shortcode on this new page: MyBlog to add new posts?
    Or do I have forgotten to add or change somewhere settings?

    Hope someone with more experience then me can help me finding a solution.

    Is this the only blog on the site? If so you should be able to configure that page to list your posts:

    /wp-admin/options-reading.php

    You’ll need to set a static page then list the new page as the Posts page.

    If it’s a second blog you’ll need to use a custom post type, the plugin Types is really good for this.
